Category Growth

  1. Grow overall IR business in line with AOP
  2. Participate in consumer insight workshops
  3. Global scan for IR packs and powerful brand campaign
  4. Own the IR pack roadmap. Provide recommendations with appropriate Business Case

Unlock Nurture Circles

A bulk of the revenue comes from top circles. Identify opportunities outside the top circles to develop the next engines of growth. This would involve understanding of the segment mix for the circle, understanding the unique traveling patterns of the circle, understanding geographic hotspots if any to unlock these circles.

Unlock B2B

A sizable chunk of IR business comes from B2B accounts. Most of these accounts comprise of frequent travelers, and have unique needs for international roaming packs. This role involves working closely with the KAMs to understand the key B2B accounts and develop strategies to unlock these accounts for international roaming. The role would also involve developing processes and best practices that may be replicated across different accounts.

Customer Experience
IR is a category that thrives on word-of-mouth and recommendation from friends and colleagues. Therefore, it is critical to ensure positive NPS on IR. This is also in line with our philosophy of being the most consumer centric, transparent and trusted brand. The role would be responsible for proactively identifying areas of improvement around customer experience and actioning them through a CFT. 

Skills and Capabilities required for the role -

Understanding of Consumer Marketing and Analytics
Appreciation of Consumer Insights
Build business case on new ideas and proposals
Collaboration and Program Management to work with CFT teams and circle teams
Advanced skills in power-point presentation and impactful communication

International Roaming is one of the fastest growing category for telcos, with 30%+ YoY growth. With the number of international travelers from India growing at a rapid pace, there is an ever increasing set of leisure and first-time travelers in the market. This presents a unique opportunity to grow the category rapidly by solving for key consumer barriers and devising effective go-to-market strategies.

The role requires a mix of consumer insights, product strategy, channel strategy, go-to-market strategy, customer experience strategy, program management and business case development.
